Neva Francis Kumberg

Neva Francis Kumberg, age 83, died Friday, December 14, 2007 at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt, Kansas. She was born February 13, 1924, the daughter of the late Ace and Hazel Riffey of Sawyer, Kansas.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pratt, the Red Hat Society and Walk Across Kansas. Neva worked many years as an LPN at Pratt Regional Medical Center. She was an avid walker in Pratt and well known for her fondness of glittery hats.

She is survived by a daughter: Sandra & husband Don Mease of Medicine Lodge, KS, three grandchildren: Amy & husband R.D. Cogswell of Topeka, Emily Mease of Topeka and Chad & wife Kara Mease of Liberal, four great-grandchildren: Connor, Caitlyn, Cameron & Claire Cogswell.

There will be no visitation. Memorial service was Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt with R.D. Cogswell presiding.
