Peggy (Groendycke) Vincent

Peggy G. Vincent, 78 died Dec. 11, 2007 at St. Anthony North Hospital, Denver, CO. She was born Aug. 6, 1929 at Medicine Lodge, KS, the daughter of Len and and Elma (Hensley) Groendycke. A resident of Broomfield for 45 years, formerly of Medicine Lodge, she was a retired Elementary School Teacher. She was a member of The Questers, Broomfield Potpourri Doll Club, and TOPS.

On December 29, 1962 she married Joseph William Vincent at Denver, CO. He died March 19,1987.

Survivors include a Step-Son, Gary Vincent, Highlands Ranch, CO; 3 Step-Daughters Vicki Vincent, Valencia, CA; Maria Vincent, Lawrence, KS; and Naomi Meadows, Loveland, CO; 2 sisters Donna Irvin, Andover and Doris Bell, Wichita, KS; 8 Grandchildren,13 Great Grandchildren and 6 Nephews and Nieces. She was preceded in death by 2 step-sons David and Jon Vincent and 2 sisters Patti and Leigh Groendycke. She loved her family dearly and cherished her grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tom Walters presiding. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge. Memorials may be sent to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in care of Larrison Funeral Home.
