Rachel Bowman, 96, died Sept. 28, 2005 in El Paso, TX. She was born March 10, 1909 at Ganntown, IL the daughter of James A. and Nancy Elizabeth (Carter) Fitch. A resident of El Paso, TX for 3 years, formally of Medicine Lodge, she was a Dietary Aide. She was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church at Medicine Lodge and El Paso, TX. In 1928 she married J.K. Bowman, he died in 1968.Survivors include 3 sons; Donald Bowman, Medicine Lake, WA; Jack Bowman, Tekoa, WA; and Richard Bowman, El Paso, TX. 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral service was Monday, October 3, 2005 at 1st Assembly of God Church, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Steve Todd presiding. Burial was at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
