Roberta A. Jones, 62, died August 7, 1998, at Via Christi Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

She was born August 16, 1935, at Columbus, the daughter of Thomas and Maxine (Ireland) Holman. A Kiowa resident since 1988, formerly of El Dorado.

she was a retired book-keeper.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, both of Kiowa.

Survivors include: a son, Sean Jones, Augusta; a daughter, Heather Jones, Kiowa; and two grandchildren.

Graveside service was held Wednesday, August 12, 1998, at Riverview Cemetery, Kiowa.

Fisher Funeral Home, Kiowa, was in charge of arrangements.
