Ronald Dee Jackson

Ronald Dee Jackson, age 72, died Friday, November 16, 2007 at his home in Medicine Lodge. He was born February 27, 1935 at Anderson, Indiana, the son of Claud and Marcella (Davis) Jackson.

Coming from Zenda, he has been a resident of Medicine Lodge since 1977. He was a custodian at the Medicine Lodge Middle School for 22 years. He was a US Army Veteran having served from 1958-1960.

On December 1, 1956, he married Shirley Ann Alvis in Anderson, Indiana. She died February 28, 1990.

He is survived by his son Mark and Rebecca Jackson, Medicine Lodge; and daughter Mardena Jackson, Wichita; a sister GayAnne Simms, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marlene Adiar.

The funeral service will be held November 20, 2007 at the First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery with military honors provided by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the Ronald Jackson Memorial Fund in care of the Larrison Funeral Home in Medicine Lodge.
