Wendell A. Mott

Wendell A. Mott, 51, died August 26, 2005 in Barber County. He was born February 24, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Jackson "Jack" and Anita "Ann" (Keltner) Mott. A lifetime resident of Medicine Lodge, he was a farmhand, worked in the oilfield, and at White’s Foodliner. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Medicine Lodge. He graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in 1972, where he participated in track and show choir.

Survivors include two sons Tony Mott and Brian Mott, both of Great Bend; two daughters Amber Mott and Megan Mott, both of Great Bend; his mother Anita "Ann" Mott, Gardner, Kansas; two brothers, Jackson Mott, Medicine Lodge, and Jeff Mott, Dalton, Georgia; two sisters, Renee Melton, Olathe, Kansas, Lori Singleton, Gardner, Kansas; his grandmother, Lyndall Shmidl, Medicine Lodge; a grandson Brian Jesse Mott, Great Bend, and two step granddaughters, Angelynn Mott, and Shaylynn Mott, both of Great Bend.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Mott.

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 2, 2005 at Larrison Funeral Home, Medicine Lodge.
