WILLIAM WESLEY STEWART, Jr.

William Wesley Stewart, Jr., 53, died Sunday, March 11, at his home in Medicine Lodge, after an apparent heart attack. Born Aug. 12, 1919, in Akins, Okla., he married Mary Belle Brence Dec. 15, 1939, in Cordell, Okla.

Cashier for the Santa Fe Railroad at Medicine Lodge, he was a member of the Lions Club and the First Christian Church. He was a veteran of World War II, and had lived in the Medicine Lodge area for 20 years.

He is survived by his widow; son, Dale Stewart, Overland Park, daughters, Mrs. Janet K. Ketola and Miss Carol Sue Stewart, both of Oklahoma City, sister, Mrs. Juanita Alluns, Del City, Okla.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in the Medicine Lodge Christian Church with the Rev. David Bradshaw officiating. Burial was in the Cordell, Okla. cemetery.
