W.C. Gibson
The W. C. Gibson on the Barton County Kansas Section of the 1912

Cyclopedia of State History page is William Carroll Gibson.
He died in Barton Co on 29 April 1877 from wounds received in the Civil War. He was buried on the family farm (located now at 30th and 30th west side of the road) then reburied in the GAR circle after they were formed.
