Lurana b1859 in Bourbon County Kansas, m1879 in Bates County Missouri,
r1880's in Chase County Kansas and d1893 in Cherokee County Kansas.
Based on census records, family photos, etc. Believe the parents might be

BEECHWOOD, BELL, BLAISE, BUCHHOLTZ, DUMAS, KARLESKINT, KLEIN, MEEKS, SAUNDERS
beechwoodroots@comcast.net Veronica Beechwood Curry Thu Apr 3 17:35:16 1997
I am researching the following families who lived in St. Paul, Neosho
County, KS, from 1865 until 1909. Jacob and Catherine Sellman BEECHWOOD
(name changed from BUCHHOLTZ in 1840s) and their children John, Barbara,
Anthony, Charles, Victoria and William all raised families in Neosho
County. The ones I don't know much about are Anthony and Victoria.
(John married Elizabeth KLEIN and moved back to Lewis County, NY.
Barbara married George KARLESKINT and moved back to Bourbon County, KS.
Charles married Mary MEEKS and later moved to Joplin, MO. William is my
great grandfather. He married Mary Alice BELL, daughter of John Thomas
BELL and Louisa SAUNDERS, all of St. Paul, KS. William and Mary Alice
moved to Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., KS in 1909, with their family.)
Anthony died in a mill accident in 1882 at the age of 32. He left behind
a wife and baby, neither of whom I've identified yet. Victoria married a
man named Frank BLAISE. She died at age 27 and left 3 children. Her
oldest, Lydia, married John DUMAS. I know nothing else about her. If
anyone is researching these names, please contact me: Beechwood,
Sellman, Blase, Bell, Dumas, Karleskint, Jarboe, Kendrick, Cavanaugh,
Redinger, and many others. I have been to St. Paul, KS and have done a
great deal of research on Beechwood and Bell. I'd like to share it with
anyone who's interested, and am always looking for more leads. Thank
you.
