Obituary of JESSIE B. PATTERSON
Jessie B. Patterson, 85, died Nov. 7, 2004.

Visitation 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday; service 10:30 a.m. Thursday, both at Dunsford Funeral Home.

Mrs. Patterson was born Jan. 7, 1919 in Reese, KS to Ray and Mae (Ayler) Malcom.

She was a homemaker and retired Holstein Dairy farmer and Western Auto Store employee. Jessie was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing ceramics, sewing, quilting, making wedding cakes and especially making dolls.

In high school, Jessie was an outstanding basketball star at Andover High School. In 1954 she was chosen Kansas State 4-H leader of the Year.

Survivors: sons, Clare Jr. and wife, Helen of Apache Junction, AZ, Dalton and wife, Sonja of El Dorado, Allen and wife, Barbara of Augusta; sister, Ellen Christmore of Wichita; grandchildren, Tony, Cary, Robin, Cory, Todd Patterson; great-grandchildren, Candace Haworth, Kacy, Courtney, Cale, Brandt, A.J., Aydan Patterson, Breeanna Rizzi, Brandi and Natalie Biggart; great-great-grandchildren, Skyler and Savannah Rizzi, Taylor Biggart.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clare; daughter, Clarice; sister, Lena Sifford; brother, Jack Malcom.

Memorials are suggested to Augusta Historical Museum, Augusta Caring Center and Augusta Senior Center.
