Obituary of JESSE J. JACKSON
Jesse Jackson

Former Augusta resident Jesse J. Jackson, 78, died Wednesday, August 23, 1995 at Whitewater.

There will be no services for the retired Beech machinist and rancher.

Jackson was born in Burns on August 3, 1917 to Albert and Mattie (White) Jackson. He married Marjorie Greer on October 17, 1943 in Augusta. They one brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Jackson had been in the U.S. Air Force, a member of the United Methodist church, Elks, Past President of the Bowling League and maintained the pro shop at the bowling alley.

He is survived by is daughter; Sara Wescott of El Dorado, Ann Simmons of Benton and Jane Coria of Tulsa, Okla.; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
