Dora Alice Heaston, daughter of Charles Lewis Heaston and Mary Teter Heaston, was born in Magnolia, Iowa, July 8, 1882 and passed away in the El Dorado Hospital September 1, 1969 at 7:15 p.m. at the age of 87.

She was married to Dr. Samuel Neal Mallison June 10, 1908 in Boise, Idaho. To this union one daughter, Mary Marlys, was born, who survives her. Other survivors are a granddaughter, Mrs. Marland Boucher, a great - granddaughter, Dana Boucher and one brother, C. L. Heaston of Amarillo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by a twin sister, one other sister and four brothers.

They moved to Augusta In 1924 where Dr. Mallison practiced medicine and operate the Augusta Hospital for a number of years. They moved to Illinois in 1944 where he was connected with public health work.
Dr. Mallison passed away October 5, 1957 and two years later Mrs. Mallison returned to Augusta where she made her home until her death.

Funeral services were held on Thursday September 4, 1969 at the Dunsford Chapel with Rev. Paul Gilbert officiating. Entombment was in the Elmwood Mausoleum.

An organ solo "In The Garden" was played by Mrs. Viola Bagby. Casketbearers were Jack Hoefgen, Bob Bisagno, Virgil Polk, Charles McCullough, Raymond D. Boucher, and Sherman Perry.
