Marjoria Jackson
Service Today

Retired secretary Marjoria G. Jackson, 71, El Dorado, died Thursday, November 1. She was a member of the Augusta Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services were today at Kirby-Morris Funeral home in El Dorado. Burial was in Walnut Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jackson was born January 5, 1919 in Haverhill to Jim and Augusta Nixon-Greer. Jackson lived in Butler County all her life, and married Jesse J. Jackson on October 17, 1942 in El Dorado.

Survivors include husband, Jesse of the home; three daughters, Jane Dunn and Sara Westcott of Tulsa, Okla., Anna Jackson of El Dorado; a brother, John Greer of Topac, Ariz.; a sister Mary McKenna of Huntington Harbor, Calif.; seven grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association.
