Their daughters, Daisy (SHAMLEFFER) LAMB, and Hazel Grace SHAMLEFFER, are buried in Douglass Cemetery. Are Leonard SHAMLEFFER and his wife Alice also buried in Douglass Cemetery? If so, what are the dates on the tombstones? Is Daisy (SHAMLEFFER) LAMB's husband buried there? He died between 1910 and 1920, but I do not know his first name. James died in 1900 locally and Stella died in CA in 1919. Stella's mom, Mary Ellen SPAULDING is buried at Sunset Lawns, near James and Stella. I've recently heard about Stella's brother Al CONLEY and know nothing about him. The 1910 census for Clifford TWP, Butler Co, KS shows him as age 17 and a servant to August Hinz and family. August and his wife, Rosmia, have a son Edward, age 19 and daughters Augusta 17, Katie 15, Emma 12 and Lizzie,10. A daughter in law, Alivina and her 2 children live with the Hinz family also. I am hoping a Hinz descendent might remember George SCHMICK. Thomas ROBERTS was one of 5 brothers to my Great-Grandfather, William Franklin ROBERTS, who died of influenza at the age of 38. Specifically, I am looking for a contact person who might have the burial records for the cemetery. I have several family members buried in this cemetery, and have reason to believe my gr-gr grandmother may be buried there as well, in an unmarked grave. I would like to verify, or disprove, this belief, if possible. I’m not looking for transcription records – I have those, and have visited the cemetery as well – but am looking for any master record of who is buried there, whether their grave is marked or not.
