     Dec. 21 - Dr. F. H. Bryant, who came in from Roy, New Mexico will locate here again.

     Geo. Yeager and family of Rock creek who recently moved to California, located in Los Angeles.

     Dec. 24 - Norton Bros. of Bazaar, have just built an entire separator for their threshing machine. In addition to being good farmers they are natural mechanics.

     W. B. Gibson will soon complete his new two story house on his farm near Clements.

     The owners of the Cottonwood Falls Mill and Elevator at this place decided several weeks ago that the mill should close and business be discontinued, are now closing out the stock of flour and grain they have on hand. They have leased the mill for a term of fifteen years to the Light and Power Company.

     Dec. 28 - Will Miller of South Fork and Carrie Inglo of Excelsior Springs are married.

     Mrs Mary Goudie a resident of Strong City for 31 years has died. Also Mrs Adam Brecht of Strong City died on Christmas day.

     Marshal Long is still finding dogs on the streets which he is shooting. He says he has warned the people to keep their dogs off the streets.

     Dec. 31 - An unusually big crop of ice is being put up by the ice men. The long continued cold weather has made very heavy ice.

     Agnes McNee dies in Cottonwood Falls. She is the mother of six children, four of whom survive.
