     Nov. 1, 1910 – Mrs. G. W. Simpson of Clements takes her own life, by drinking carbolic acid. She is the wife of Dr. G. W. Simpson, who is a practicing physician of Clements. They have lived in Clements only about on year.

     Nov. 9 - Fixtures and shelving have been installed in the new vault in the court house to house the county records.

     Dave Wood gave the first pledge of $500 for the new Methodist Church building.

     Chase County’ s valuation per capita is high.

     Five new Remington, No. 10 typewriters have been purchased by the Chase County High School.

     Nov. 11 - A son was born to Mr. & Mrs. Fred Rider of Elmdale. His name is Robert Lee.

     Nov. 15 - Steward Baker gave a "Barn Dance" at Bazaar by way of dedication of his big barn that was just built. 100 were in attendance.

     Free for all dedication ball was held in Hunts new opera house at Clements, Percy Hunt, Owner.

     Willard Park has commenced the foundation for a new hotel building south of the opera house.

     Alfred Mercer, the 19 year old son of Thomas Mercer, of Homestead died of blood poisoning.

     Dan Foxworthy and Josie Stubenhofer were married by Father Shepues at Strong City.

     Nov. 22 - Mr. & Mrs. Fred Cahoone are moving to a new home, Texas.

     Nov. 25 - The Chase County High School football team won 3 to 0. They played the high school of Emporia. Harman made the points for CCH school.

     Nov. 29 – Mrs. Frank Bell died at her home east of Cottonwood Falls. Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Clifford, age six and Lora, age four.

     Bella Frew and Will Glennie of Strong City were married.

     Dec. 2 - W. B. Penny of the Falls has bought the abstract and insurance business of Johnson Bros.

     Dec. 6 - Miss Grace Harlan's death occured at the home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Mathew Harlan at Matfield Green.

     Ralph Drummond of Diamond creek is building a new house. Ed Gruwell had the job of laying the foundation.

     Dec. 9 - John Mailen, City Marshal, has a face in a deplorable condition from the effects of a locating administration by some of the young "Sports." Bad booze and a crap game is thought to have started the melee.
