     Sep. 21, 1911 - Miss Blanches daughter of Mr. & Mrs. F. M. Gaddie of Bazaar is married to Harry Hays. Their home will be on the groom's farm several miles south of Bazaar.

     Sept. 28 - Deaths; Marian Jackson of Clements and Nancy Holsinger of the Falls.

     Oct. 5 - Two large silos, the first to be built in this county have been completed by J. H. McCready of Strong City and E. B. Greene on the Green ranch at Bazaar.

     Oct. 12 – Death entered the M. P. Strail home. Mr. Strail was a wagon maker and ran his business in Cottonwood Falls for many years.

     M. D. Umbarger died at Strong City at the age of 67. He had previously lived on the old Henry Hegwer farm on Diamond Creek.

     Oct. 26 - County Treasurer R. Z. Blackburn is moving to his new residence in Cottonwood Falls. L. W. Heck has completed the interior decorating and finishing work.

     Leslie Gillaspie and Ulalia Gaddie second daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Gaddie of Bazaar are wed.

     The Humpmobile is becoming a very popular car with Chase County citizens. Three of the new 1912 models were received this week, owners are, Will Wood of Fox creek, Dave Wood and W. F. Rockwood.

     Nov. 2 - Chas. J. Lantry dies at North Carolina. His death removes the last of the Lantry boys who for many years made their home in Strong City, where they became famous as contractors and railroad builders.

     Nov. 23 - The new Methodist church at Cottonwood Falls will dedicate their new church next Sunday.

     Mrs. Jacob Hinden wife of Dr. Hinden of Strong City dies from heart failure.

     Dec. 14 - The famous Clover Cliff ranch owned by the Blackshere Bros., of Elmdale have sold the ranch to H. L. Prather.

     A fine baby was born to Mr. & Mrs. John J. McLinden. Before her marriage Mrs McLinden was Miss Kate Flueler and is well known in many parts of the county where she has taught school.

     Dec. 21 - John Trowbridge who was struck and killed by a falling tree on the George Miller farm was buried at the Miller cemetery. He was 45 years old.

     Dec. 28 - A Chase County man is arrested for stealing 25 skunk hides from his neighbor.

     The people of Diamond Springs and Hymer were saddened by the death of Mrs. Carl 0. Bennett. She leaves a 6 week old baby son, two other children and her husband.

     Jan. 4, 1912 - K. J. Fink dies after a lingering disease.

     Feb. 8 - A new firm in Cottonwood Falls will be known as the "Henry Long Dry Goods."
