     Feb. 2, 1921 — Between 200 - 250 persons attended the annual meeting ot the Bazaar Farmers Union. A big supper was served.

     Feb. 4 - Industrial survey shows low Women’s wage scale.

     Geo. E. Capwell, of this city is one of the largest beekeepers in this part of the state.

     Mr. & Mrs Carl Beedle are the parents of a daughter.

     P. C. Schimpff is having a public farm sale near Clements. He has sold his farm and is moving to town. Col. J. J. McLinden is the auctioneer.

     Feb. 9 - Cottonwood Falls is to have a new fire truck.

     Andy Walker of Matfield Green has taken a job in the J. A. Mann and Son garage east of the courthouse.

     Feb. 11 - Helen Blackburn, daughter of Mr. & Mrs W. R. Blackburn, of Bazaar, is one of the twenty honor students of the College of Emporia.

     J. R. Short has opened a Real Estate Office recently.

     Feb. 14 - The County Commissioners set new wage schedule for county road work. Wages for a single hand on any king of work will be 40 cents per hour, instead of 50 cents. Men with teams will receive 70 cents per hour instead of 80 cents which has been paid in the past.

     Feb. 16 - The Farmers Union store at Strong City wishes to announce that A. J. Stout is now in charge of the cream station and will receive cream six days a week.

     Feb. 18 - Bart Shipman formerly of Elmdale and brother of Mrs Louie Frey of Stribby creek, passed away at Hutchinson.

     Feb. 21 — The final settlement in the matter of the estate of Harry Gaddie is made by F. M. Gaddie, Adm.

     Feb. 23 — At the Congregational meeting of the Presbyterian church of this city it was decided to repair and remodel the present church building.

     Pasture leasing going slow. Five acres of grass will be allowed for each grazing head and a charge of $2.50 per month is the first lease agreement made by parties.

     Spring suits at Martin Dry Goods Co. from $28.00 to $75.00.

     C W. Mendenhall of Clements has setting eggs for sale at 6 cents each.

     Richard/Walton Fully presents the greatest Hawaiian Love Play at the Strong City Auditorium. There are thirty-five people in the cast. Prices 75 cents up to $2.00, plus tax, seat sale at the Rexall Drug Store, Strong City.

     Feb. 25 - The Rebekah Lodge will give a pie supper in the Odd Fellows Lodge room in Strong City.

     Mr. & Mrs Jess Starkey will attend the threshermen’s convention at Wichita
