     Feb. 28, 1921 - Harry Hager and his brother, Clarence will farm the James McNee farm on Rock creek. Mrs. 0. J. Hager, their mother will move there shortly.

     Parents Day will be held at the city school in the Falls.

     Mar 2 - February sets record for mild weather.

     Harold Miller is chosen Captain for the 1921 football season at the Chase County High School.

     Mar 4 - Charles Benjamin Zickefoose died at his home, at Clements. He was 59 years old.

     Seed potatoes $1.25 a sack east of Clough’s Hardware Store in Strong City.

     Mar 7 - Calvin Pendergraft departed this life at his home in the Falls.

     Laura Dean of Elmdale and Howard Childs are wed.

     For Sale - a 29 acre farm price $2,000 - John and Nancy Sager, Bazaar.

     Mar 9 - A beautiful, red fox, which is now rare was shot near Hymer by Ned Whitney.

     Mar 11 - Four shows instead of three will be shown at the Odeon movie house states F. W. Bailey who recently purchased the business from M. K. Harman.

     Mar 14 - The stone business is coming back to Chase County. Three quarries may open soon.

     A lazy man is no worse than a dead one, but he takes up more room. James Hamilton died at his home in Matfield Green. Burial was in the Matfield cemetery.

     Mar 16 - Now is the best time to wage war on the gophers.

     Emma Mau and Carl Mauderly of Diamond Creek are married.

     Charles Roniger is building a new tenant house.

     George Fredrick Starkey, being 7 years old has departed this life.

     Mar 18 - The peoples ticket for the city was selected and are; For Mayor, R. Z. Blackburn; Councilmen, Louis Fink; W. 0. Steele, Henry Errett, Chas. Sayre and Chas. Remy. Sherman Knowland was nominated for Police Judge.

     Marriage of Floyd S. Trussell of Clements and Dorothy M. Nichols, of Cedar Point by Judge Allen.

     Mar 21 - Automobiles will be taxed by weight in the future.

     Mar 23 - Chas. Klein of Elmdale an old resident of the Elmdale vicinity has died. He has been an invalid for the past several years.

     It is said that Kansas is the premier wheat state and has been described as the earth’s greatest bread basket.

     The Community Tea Room is open at Cedar Point, a free lunch was served to all.
