     Mar 20 1925 - Christian Science services are held every Sunday in the front rooms over the Chase County National Bank.


     Mar 27 - Mumps epidemic reaches this city.


     Mar 31 - Many bids are expected on the new Masonic Temple soon to be built in Cottonwood Falls.


     Apr 7 - The new Mayor of Cottonwood Falls will be M. W. Woodhull and W. P. Rettiger of Strong City.


     Mr. & Mrs Francis Bray of Matfield Green have a new son.


     Apr 10 - Cottonwood Falls “Toy Band” is probably the greatest attraction this city has ever had in the way of a band. The band is composed of the primary department of the Cottonwood Falls city school, and range from 5 to 8 years old.


     W. A. Wood of Elmdale, makes cotton grow here and received a return of $122.50 per acre for it.


     Apr 14 - The Emporia depot is trimmed with Chase County stone.


     Apr 21 - Chase County wins the State track meet at Lawrence. Trophies won can be seen in the window of the Henry Long Dry Goods Co.


     Apr 24 - Bazaar plans rodeo and Fourth of July celebration.


     May 1 - There are 45 rural schools in Chase County. A decrease of 14 percent in the past four years. Salaries range from $65 to $366 for teachers all over Chase Co.


     May 8 - The number of automobiles in Chase County is set at 1,656.


     May 26 - Masonic building corner stone was Laid.


     May 29 - Ex-service man and farmer, Walter 0. Buffington, graduated from Chase County Community High School after completing his course by correspondence and conference with Prof. Wm. R. Thompson. Mr. Buffington has a wife and three children and teaches in rural schools in the winter and farms in the summer.


     Jun 9 - Ice school district #38 will consolidate with Clements by a vote four to one.


     Jun 12 - Cottonwood Falls has for the first time establishing parking spaces for motor cars on Broadway.


     Jun 16 - Chase County has 4,405 people living in this county in 1924 according to the assessors count.


     Jul 7 - The Brandley school district #12 south of Matfield Green just voted to consolidate with the Matfield Green school. A few months ago Hillside district #34 also consolidated with Matfield.


     Jul 28 - Miss Bertha Jones and Donald McCallum both of Matfield Green are wed.


     Jul 31- So good-Steffens Frozpol Sucker 5cents Ad - The Hilton Pharmacy.


     Aug 7 - Mrs Michael Gamer, resident of this county for the past 48 years has died.


     Aug 14 - Wilcox Brothers buy the W. B. Hilton Pharmacy.


     Aug 18 - Miss Esther Stubenhofer and E. J. Hynson, young couple of the Neva vicinity are wed in Council Grove.
