celebrate 50th anniversary

and Joseph Meyers are giving
their parents and grandparents a party to celebrate Gene
and Anna Lee Meyers' 50th
wedding anniversary.
Gene and Anna Lee Meyers
were married on May 16, 1953,
in Cottonwood Falls, where
they have lived most of their
married life. For a few years
they lived in a railroad car,
while Gene worked for the railroad and Anna Lee cooked for
the gang, until Gene retired.
Then she was a waitress for
local restaurants and a custodian for the high school and courthouse.
Family .and friends of the
couple are welcome to come
and celebrate with Gene and
Anna Lee on May 18, 2003
from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at St.
Anthony Hall in Strong City.
The couple request no gifts
please.
