Collins, Margaret Elmira Miller
Mrs. W. A. Collins died Sunday morning at her home, 1022 Merchant. Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, followed by services at the M. E, church at Toledo at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in the Toledo cemetery.
Mrs. Collins' maiden name was Margaret Elmira Miller. She was born in Davis county, Missouri, September 5, 1959 and died January 20, 1924. She came to Toledo, with her parents, Mr and Mrs David Miller, in 1876, January 1, 1877, she was married to W. A. Collins at Toledo and seven years ago Mr. and Mrs. Collins moved to Emporia.
Mrs. Collins is survived by Mr. Collins and five children: Mrs. W. F. Workman and Mrs. A. F. Walker of Emporia; and William, John and Carl Collins, all of Kansas City, Mo. Two sisters Mrs. Lou Miller, of Anderson, Mo., and Mrs. Stella King of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, George and Olie Miller, of Washington; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild all survive.
