Hush, Mildred Ruth Burnes Mildred Ruth Hush, 97, Emporia, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Newman Regional Health.
The daughter of Harry P. and Emma Blair Burnes, she was born April 27, 1909, at Emporia. She married Kenneth W Hush on Aug. 17, 1930, at Cottonwood Falls. He died Dec. 26, 1998, at Emporia.
Mrs. Hush was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by one son, Robert K. Hush of Emporia; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and eight great-greatgrandchildren.
The funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 21, at the
First Christian Church. The Rev. Bob Colerick conducted the service. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
