Maloney, Patrick J

Patrick J, Maloney died at his home in Parsons, Kansas on the 18th day of August in the fourtieth year of his age. Mr Maloney was in the employ of M. K. & T. RailWay Co. and was in jured in a collision in the yards.

He was born in Ireland and came to Kansas with his parents in 1881. The family settled in Elmdale, here he found employment with the A. T. & S. F. Rail Way Co remaining in the service of this Company for a number of years as section foreman. He moved to Parsons three years ago where he secured a comfortable and pleasant home, surrounded by a happy and contented family.

He leaves a wife and five children, an aged father and two sisters to mourn bis untimely death. Mr. Maloney was an upright man and a good citizen, ever ready to help the poor and needy, a man who, was posessed of those qualities that make and retain a life long friendship with his fellowmen. Farewell, dear friend, you have been called from time to eternity, a journey that all humanity must sooner or later make.
