Mauderly, Beulah C Hess Beulah C. Mauderly, 83, died April 12, 2002, at Holiday Resort, Emporia.
Beulah C. Hess the daughter of Ira and Clara Anderson Hess, was born March 17, 1919, in Halls Summit. She married John H. Mauderly Feb 6, 1949, in Emporia. He died Aug 3, 1995. She was a former hair stylist.
Survivors include one brother, Alvin J Hess of Burlington and severl nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Verlin Hess and John Hess. Services were held at Charter Funerals-Emporia Chapel on April 16, 2002. The Rev. Phyllis Garrett of the Hartford United Methodist Chruch officiated. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society may be sent in care of the funeral home.
