Varelman, Charles A
Former Emporia resident Charles Allen
Varelman, 65, of Crestview,
Fla., died May 11, 2003.
He was born Dec. 29,
1938, in Reading, the son of
Barnhardt "Ben" and
Maude Mae Brady
Varelman.
Mr. Varelman is survived by three sons, Dennis
Varelman of Strong City,
Tom Varelman of Brush,
Colo. and Larry Dean
Varelman, whose address is
unknown; three daughters,
Sue Parker and Nancy
Ramirez of Emporia and
Lenore Varelman of
Council Grove; 11 grand-
children; three brothers,
Ben Varelman of
Herington, Ken Varelman
of Hartford and Jim
Varelman, of South
Dakota; and one sister,
Mabel Zorn of Strong City.
His parents died earlier,
as did a daughter, Vickie
Sue; a brother, George
Varelman; and two sisters,
Mona Varelman and
Phyllis J. Copple.
Mr. Varelman has been
cremated and no local services are planned.
