Am searching for any descendants of Samuel S. or Richard T. Booth who settled outside Peru following the Civil War. Sam died in 1875 and Richard in 1906. They are buried in the old Booth cemetery outside Peru.

My gr-grandfather, Joseph K. Jones, lived in Salt Creek Twp, Chautauqua Co., KS in the 1880 census, and is listed as a farmer. He was a missionary for the American Bible Society for many years in southeastern Kansas. Joseph K. Jones was b in 1846 in OH and married Polly Caroline GAULT b 1847 in OH. They had 5 children: Nancy Mabel b 1870 in IL, married Stephen McBRIDE; Albert "Albie" Ernest b 1874 IL; Earl b 1877 IL married Mary Lottie CAMP; J. William; Olive married W. A. HOUSE.
Does anyone know anything about the American Bible Society? Interested in any information on the siblings of Earl Jones, my grandfather. Will share information.

I am seeking information on Isaac McCaffree, the brother of my gg grandfather Charles McCaffree. Isaac was b in KY (sometime between 1809 and 1825). His father's name may have been William; his mother's name was Mary BOYLE. Isaac went to IN, then IA where he married Rebecca BEELAH in 1847. They lived in IA (Bremer CO) for a period of time and then moved to Sullivan County MO in 1854-55; then to KS in the early 1860"s. First to Cherokee County (about 1870) and then to Chautauqua County according to the 1880 KS census. They had 15 children; an infant dying at birth, Mary, America, Castells, Sarah, Charles, Oliver, Albert, Isaac Perry, Frances, Armilda, George, Arvilla, Genicoora and Jessie born between 1847 and 1873. Does any one know of this family? Looking forward to hearing from you.
