Query: Researching the LAND/PIERCE ancestry and I have came across the name of John PIERCE who married my grandmother Emma BROCK about 1909 in Franklin County Missouri. They had one child my mother Nellie Marie PIERCE-LAND borned January 22, 1910 in Franklin County Missouri she passed away January 21, 1981. I am told that John PIERCE was married twice. He had children with his first marriage. I remember my mother in the late 1940's went to Baxter Springs, Kansas to see her half brother who was dieing from either black lung disease or a coal mine desaster. Would you please check your database for a possible connection? I am willing to share information. I want to thank you for your time and reply. Have a nice day.

Query: I am looking for any information on Harry Myers' family. I do not have the dates for Harry Myers or his wife Pearl. There were 3 sons: Basil Loree Myers, born 1912- died 1941, Harry Albert Myers, born March 12, 1917 - died May 1967. Harry had wife Ruth and 1 daughter. I think her name was Linda. They had a farm out side of Columbus in Cherokee County. Basil had 2 sons: Basil Monte Myers, born November 12, 1935, and Harry Bert Myers, born February 1, 1937. The third son was Alva Myers, born December 23, 1908, died December 17, 1992 in Joplin, Mo. Alva was Harry Myers' son from a previous marriage, wifes' name unknown. If any one has any knowledge of this family, please E-Mail me. Harry Albert's daughter may still be in Cherokee County. Ruth was a school teacher there untill she retired. I am not sure if she is still alive.
