MURPHY HEART HART WHITE GOOD

I am trying to find information on John Asbury MURPHY b 24 Mar 1850 Polk Co. MO, son of Thomas L. b1826 TN and Eliza HEART MURPHY [b1828 McMinn Co. TN]. According the Civil War discharge papers of Thomas L., who served in Company L of the 6th Missouri Cavalry [Union], Thomas L. b1826 was born in ÒGrangerÓ Tennessee [presumably, this means Grainger County]. Thomas L. and Eliza resided Polk Co. MO 1850, Cherokee Co. KS 1880, and Benton Co. AR 1900). John Asbury b1850 was a brother of my great grandfather Thomas M. D. MURPHY [b1856 Polk Co. MO, m1883 Benton Co. AR to Mandy KELLEY].

I seek the following [some of which is described in the ÒNotes by KWSÓ beside the census entries listed in this query]:

1. Names and addresses of any descendants or of any persons who might be knowledgeable about John A. MURPHY b1850 or about others of this line of MURPHYs.

2. Need confirmation that this is the right John A. MURPHY in the census records identified here. Where did he die and where is he buried?

3. Where was John A. MURPHY in the 1860, 1870, and 1910 census?

4. Marriage record: Carroll Co. AR, 12 May 1884, John A. MURPHY to Martha J. WHITE. Need confirmation that this is ÒmyÓ John Asbury MURPHY b1850.
