Topic: Brown, Cleland in Cherokee/Crawfor Co.

I am trying to locate the Brown/Cleland Families.
I have them per census records as
1900 - Tom (53) & Christina (53)Cleland Cherokee Co,With Tom Jr. (25), Mary (19), Christina (15), John (12) and Archibald (1). But no Beatrice nor James. However,
1910 - James Brown (son of Christina by previous marriage and brother to Beatrice Brown) Cherokee Co.
And again in
1920 - James Brown Crawford Co.

Originally, this family immigrated to the US abt 1881 from Scotland and settled, presumed here in KS. However, along the way a Beatrice Brown step D/O Tom and Christina (Wood) Cleland got lost. Beatrice is my GG grandmother. I think she married a William Cleland (half brother and son of Thomas Cleland Sr.) in Foster, IA. All I am positive of is that she resided most of her life in NM and died in Wyo. Any and all information regarding the this Brown or Cleland families is greatly appreciated.

Of note, they probably were coal miners. I do believe that was what they were about in Scotland prior to immigration.
