Funeral Monday

S. B. Throop passed away at his home in this city on Sunday morning at 1 o'clock, aged 67 years.

Mr. Throop was born in Michigan in 1839 and was a member of the 20th Michigan vol. Infantry Co. B. and was honorably discharged at the end of his enlistment.

He came to Columbus in 1874 having lived here continuously for 32 years. His wife and five children survive him and were all present at the funeral. James coming over from Parsons. Mrs Ed Atkinson and Miss Berenice A. Throop of Joplin, Howard from Oklahoma and Grace being at home.
