Another Veteran Gone.

 

            Comrade Charles May, late of Co. F, Second Iowa Volunteers, died at his home in this city, this morning, March 7th, 1889, aged about 46 years.  Comrade May was a zealous old soldier, a consistent member of the M. E. Church, and died full of faith in Christ’s power to forgive sins, and that he was prepared to enter upon eternal life.  Bro. C. R. Rice has been telegraphed at the Fort Scott Conference, and the funeral will take place from the M. E. Church, at 3 o’clock tomorrow.
