Kansas Who
Died in Texas, Will Be
Buried
In Topeka.
The
funeral of Elmore Y. Adams who died in Houston, Texas, will be held at
Penwell’s chapel at 2:30 p.m. today. The funeral will be in charge of
Topeka Post, G. A. R. Mr. Adams served in the Fifth Kansas cavalry,
Company H, from March 17, 1862 to March 16, 1865, when he received an honorable
discharge at Devil’s Bluff, Ark. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna
Adams and a son Herbert of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Fred Kelly, daughter, of
Houston, Texas.
