Samuel Kahl Dies;

Funeral Held Today

______

  The life of Samuel Kahl took flight Tuesday evening and another good man has been removed from this world.  His death was the result of leakage of the heart.  Samuel Kahl was born in Franklin county, Pennsylvania, April 9, 1844.  In 1864 he enlisted in the 96th Infantry of Ohio Volunteers and served three years in the service.  On June 13, 1867, he married Miss Rebecca Baron.

  In the year 1870 he came to Kansas and located on the farm where death took him.

  He leaves a wife and three daughters—Mrs. Ida Parsons, Mrs. Alice Dumond and Mrs. Inez Goloby.  Seven children preceded the father to the world beyond.

  Funeral services were held at the family home this afternoon (Thursday) in charge of Miss Sadie Nichols and Mr. C. C. Wilmoie.  Interment was made in the Buffalo cemetery.
