WILLIAM H. BRADY

The Great Bend Tribune, Friday, Nov. 20, 1908, Pg 1

Vol. XXXIII, No. 35

 Wm. Brady.

  W. H. Brady died rather suddenly Tuesday night at his home in Macksville.  The news of his death comes a sudden shock to the many friends of the family here.

As near as can be learned at present he had only been sick a couple of weeks and nothing much was thought of the sickness.  Mr. Brady was a member of the G. A. R. and served through the war as a member of Co. H, 30th Iowa Infantry.  With his wife he moved to a farm near Pawnee Rock at an early day and later moved to Great Bend where the family lived for several years.  A couple of years ago they moved to Pawnee Rock where their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Omer Dotson lives.  Mrs. Dotson is at present in Topeka and Mrs. Brady has been caring for the two Dotson children and her husband too.  One other daughter, Mrs. Will Woodward lives near Independence, Kas.

The many Barton county friends of the deceased extend their sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
