DIED.
Lydia T., wife of John A. Cole, Friday, Jan. 9, 1880, aged about 35 years.
Mary, wife of Michael Donner, of Avon township, Jan. 9, 1880, of paralysis, aged about 40 years.

--Mr. Cornelius Lane, brother of Jas. H. Lane, of Burlington, died at the residence of the latter on the 10th inst. Mr. Lane came here last fall from Indiana, and purchased a farm in the north part of the county. After contracting for the building of a house he went back after his family, and arrived at Burlington with them about a month ago, where his wife was taken sick and died. Two weeks after her death the husband also lay a corpse in his brother's house.

BOWERS--In Burlington, Kansas, Sept. 17, 1884, of inflamation of the brain, Henry son of Stephen and Nellie Bowers; aged 1 year and 4 months.
THOROGHTMAN--In Neosho township, Coffey county, Kansas, Sept. 20, 1884, of spinal disease, an infant son of Milton and Flora Thoroghtman; aged one month.
