CHORAL D. UNGER, 67, died Friday (Nov. 27,
1998) at the Sumner Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 8, 1931, at Norton, Kan. to Lester and Nola (Vernon)
Morton. She was raised in Oberlin and graduated from Oberlin Community
High School in 1949.
She worked as a Legal Secretary for Cushbenbery and Lund Law Firm and
retired from her position as secretary with KSN News.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant brother, Daniel
Morton.
Survivors include her daughter, Karla Wilson of Wellington, Kan; two
brothers, Doyle Morton of Manhattan, Kan., Luther Morton of Dodge City,
Kan; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The memorial service is Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Oberlin Cemetery with the
Rev. Tom Smith officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to the
Decatur Community High School. There will be no visitation.
Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
