George Ropert

GEORGE ROPERT: Funeral services for George Ropert, 74, of Oberlin were Saturday afternoon, December 15, at the Corcoran-Ready Funeral Home with the Rev. H. G. Feldmann officiating.  Burial was in the Kanona Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Ropert recently moved to Oberlin from their farm home near Norcatur. He died unexpectedly at his home Thursday Dec. 13.
He was born June 7 1888 and attended public school at Norton, KS.  In June 1912 he was married to Grace E. Morton.  To them were born a daughter, Ruby, and a son, Dale, both preceded their father in death, as did Mrs. Ropert in 1941.

Later after the death of his first wife Ropert and Minnie Moler were married.

Survivors are his widow,. Minnie Ropert of Oberlin; daughter-in-law Mrs. Dale Ropert; two grandchildren, Marilyn and Roxanna; two great grandchildren, all of Albuquerque, NM
