MRS. GEORGE ROPERT  

GRACE EMILY MORTON was born September 18, 1892 near Kanona, Kansas on the same farm where she resided at the time of her death.  She died March 20, 1941 at Beth El Hospital, Colorado Springs, at the age of 48 years, 6 months and 2 days.

Grace was married to George V. Ropert June 19, 1912. To this union two children were born, Ruby Gertrude who died at the age of 10 months; and Dale L. Ropert of Colorado Springs.
She was baptized into the Methodist Church at the age of 14 months.

She is survived by her husband and one son Dale; one granddaughter, Marilyn Jo Ropert; her mother, Mrs. H.S. Morton of Oberlin; a twin sister, Mrs. Gertrude Gloss of Colorado Springs; a brother Neil W. Morton of Wellington, Kansas, and other relative and friends.  Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church, Kanona, sAturday afternoon with Rev. JHoseph bruce, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Oberlin, and REv. V. J. Smith, pastor of the Kanona Church in charge.
