Lee Wilson

Lee R. [Roy] Wilson, son of Robert and [Nancy] Elizabeth Jackson Wilson,
was born January 31, 1889 [1890], at Dresden, and died August 23, 1971
at Hoxie Hospital.

Wilson served in the U.S. Army during World War I. He and Rose Neruda
were married in 1943 [at Goodland, KS]. They lived on a farm in the
Dresden community until 1961 when they moved to Oberlin. In May of this
year, Mr. & Mrs. Wilson moved to Hoxie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Jake, Charles
and Frank.

Survivors are his widow; a brother, John Wilson, Oberlin; two sisters:
Lavina Jackson, Valentine, Nebraska and Ada Johnston, Cope, Colorado.

Funeral services were conducted from Corcoran-Ready Funeral Home August
26. Interment was in Oberlin Cemetery.

[The 1900 census of Decatur Co. shows Lee's birth date as January 1890.]
