Gove County KansasGaeland Cemetery |
Gaeland Cemetery is 12 miles west of Gove City at the crossroads of the Orion community. Gael Beougher was a member of the board in the 1920's and remembers that the fence around the cemetery was built during those years with a metal gate on the north side and an arch above the gate with the word Gaeland across it. The roadway between the two sections has cedar trees on both sides and there are a few other cedars in other parts of the cemetery. This cemetery is a township project and is well-kept.
