This store and post office was located in the southeast one-fourth of section 6, township 31, south, range 9 west. According to the Harper Atlas of 1886, the land was owned by I. B. Doolittle. The post office was established on November 7, 1879, and was discontinued February 18, 1893. The first post master was Fred Hagaman.
