Tangeman, Mrs. Fred.  (Obituary).  Mrs. Fred Tangeman aged 44 years, passed away this morning at three o'clock after a lingering illness.  She is survivied by her husband and a sister, Mrs. Lulu Rose, whose home is on North Main.  Mrs. Tangeman was well known in the community and active in church work of the Presbyterian church.  Her funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Presbyterian church conducted by Dr. A. H. Morrison.  Interment will be made in Highland cemetery.  (The Newton Kansan, Newton, Kansas.  September 7, 1923.  Page 6)

Tracy, Charles A. - (Burrton).  Charles A. Tracy enrolled November 28th, 1861 at Montville, Conn, field and staff 13th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry for three years, discharged August 7th 1862 for promotion as 1st Lieut., 1st Louisiana Infantry.  Served three years.  Ws in fights at Fort Jackson, Phillips Baton Rouch, Lapourcha, Irish Bend, Franklin, Port Hudson, Pleasant Hill, and other smaller engagements.  Was on the staffs of Generals Grover and Weitgal.  (Our Old Soldiers, written by A.
