He had started after supper to Charley Payne's place, about a mile distance, going on horseback. Soon afterward his horse returned and his wife going in search of her husband found him lying by the road side on a little bank in an easy posture, lifeless. Corner Mays was called and decided death was due to a paralytic stroke. Uncle Cline was a good man. The funeral services will be held at Cyclone school house this afternoon at three o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. A. S. Poulson. Interment in Providence Cemetery. His wife and nine children survive. The children are all grown and all but two are in Jewell County. --------------------------------------------------------------------- This file was contributed for use in the KSGenWeb Archives specifically by: Virginia Perry (vperry@midwest.net) ---------------------------------------------------------------------
