A reunion of Lincoln county, Kan., people was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. D.J. Parker, on Tuesday last and a real enjoyable time was spent in “visiting” and talking over old times and discussing an excellent picnic dinner, ice cream and raiding the cherry trees which were laden with fruit.
The affair was gotten up principally in honor of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Peate, of Beverly, Kan., who were visiting in this city last week and this. Those present were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Peate, Mr. and Mrs. George Green, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Hammer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hi. Hammer, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Kyle and family, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Parker and family, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Pilcher and family, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thompson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lowe, Mr. and Mrs. Chan Ingham and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilmarth and family, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Webb and family, Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Farley and family. In all about 60 persons. – Skagit County (Sedro-Wooley [sic; Woolley], Wash.) Times
