Obituary of CAROLINE BLOOMER
Caroline Bloomer, 75, of Peabody, a homemaker and retired Wichita Eagle-Beacon carrier, died Friday, November 9, 1990, at Newton Medical Center.

Services were held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 12, at the Peabody Christian Church, with Rev. James Pohlman officiating. Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

She was born January 4, 1915, in Florence, the daughter of Eli and Lydia (Hett) Peterson. On March 19, 1935, she married Henry Bloomer in Abilene. He died in 1985. She was a member of Peabody Christian Church.

Survivors include three sons, John and Donald, both of Peabody, and Leonard of Topeka; eight daughters, Carol Piland and Shirley Solomon, both of Peabody, Mary Russell and Sharon Smith, both of Newton, April Diechen of Wichita, Karen Voth of Moundridge, Dorothy Brown of Plainville, and Barbara Evans of Topeka; one brother, Clifford Peterson of Iola; two sisters, Helen Stromberg of Florence and Edna Angle of Blackwell, Okla.; 29 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Music was provided by Jason and April Ann Reynolds accompanied on the piano by Carnella Andres. The sang "Sweet Hour of Prayer".

Pallbearers were Larry Andres, Hubert Piland, Robert McIntosh, David Solomon, John Voth, Todd Loerner and Randy Rosine.

Memorials are suggested to Peabody Christian church of KS. Christian Home of Newton. Baker Funeral Home were in charge of the services.
