Obituary of CLINTON EDGAR ATKINS
Clinton Edgar Atkins

Clinton Edgar Atkins, youngest child of William and Catherine Atkins, was born at Randolph, January 31, 1891, and departed from this life December 2, 1958.

He was united in Marriage to Jessie Hess November 26, 1924. To this union was born five children; Maxine Seibel, Marian Break and Richard Atkins of Peabody, and Paul and William Atkins of Kansas City.

He was a member of the first Baptist Church of Peabody.

He is survived by his wife and children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law and three grandchildren; also a sister, Mrs. Nellie Chance of Wetmore; a brother, Irvin Atkins of Manhattan, and many nieces and nephews.

Services were held December 5 in Baker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Samuel Beckwith officiating. Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ernest Beeton, John Slater, Henry Yakel, Harold Bentz, Homer Merryfield and Henry Koslowsky. Music was by Mrs. Robert Truax, Mrs Irvin McPheeters and Mrs. Charles Anderson.


C. E. Atkins Died Last Tuesday

Funeral services were held last Friday, December 5, for Clinton Edgar Atkins, who died December 2. Services were held at the Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Samuel Beckwith in charge. Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

The Deceased was born at Randolph January 31, 1891. He married Jessie Hess November 26, 1924 and the five children are among the survivors along with Mrs. Atkins. Daughters are Mrs. Maxine Seibel and Mrs. Marian Break of Peabody. Sons are Richard Atkins of Peabody and Paul and William Atkins of Kansas City.
