| Obituary of IRENE BALL |
| Irene Ball, 86, of Peabody, and formerly
of Potwin, died Sunday, May 14, 2000. Visitation will Wednesday, May 17,
2000 from 2 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bob Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. Her
family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Bob
Lamb Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2000 at
the Potwin Christian Church. Reverend Rick McNary will officiate. Irene was born Dec. 15, 1913 in Furley, the daughter of James Minard and Nellie Everett. On Dec. 20, 1930 at El Dorado, Kan., she married Raymond Ball, who preceded her in death. She lived in Peabody for the past seven and one half years, moving there from Potwin. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: sons, Billy Jim Ball of Peabody and Keith Ball (and wife Katie) of Wichita; daughter, Suzanne Ulbrich (and husband Allen) of Rockford, Ill.; sister, Eva Mae Wineinger of Wichita; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Potwin Christian Church. |
