Obituary of MILTON L. REIMER
Milton L. Reimer, 88, of Goessel died Nov. 5, 2000, at Bethesda Home in Goessel. 
He was born Sept. 7, 1912, at rural Canton, the son of Henry J. and Susie (Loewen) Reimer.
He was a farmer and a rural Canton resident until moving to Goessel in 1996.
On Aug. 14, 1936, he married Mary Bergen at Goessel.
He was a member of Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church.
He was a charter member of Crossroads Federal Credit Union in Goessel and had served many years on the credit committee and supervisory committee. He also served on the board of the Mennonite Heritage Museum.
Survivors include wife of Goessel; daughters, Luanna Schrag of Pretty Prairie and Shirley Flaming of Durham; brothers, John of Goessel, Wilbert of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Richard of rural Canton; sister Elsie Unruh of Goessel; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 8 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel. Rev. James Dunn and Rev. Mark Wiens officiated. Burial was at the church cemetery. 
Memorial funds have been established with Mennonite Heritage Museum and Bethesda Home.
