A. Bauslin, the gentle, good hearted traveling man for the Bacine Wagon and Carriage Company, of R___ene, Wis. Mr. Bauslin's territory is Kansas and part of Oklahoma, and he is on the go all the time, spending only his Sundays at home with his family. He is one of the company's most trusted men and handles a large business for them, superintending the retail trade of Kansas and Oklahoma. He is another example of what a man can do in Kansas. He came here, a mere lad in 1872, and went to work in the blacksmith shop with his father. Six or seven years of this work game him a little start so he was able to buy a small stock of groceries and run a grocery store. He was successful in this, and in 1880 married Miss Libbie R. Amborn, of this city, and built the magnificent residence shown with her. He has now been on the road five years for the Racine Company and has advanced to the highest position the company can offer him without leaving Kansas and Peabody in particular, which Mr. Bauslin does not care to do. His family, consisting of wife and one child, Jennie, His home and interests are all here, and friends and facilities not to be found elsewhere. Personally W. A. Bauslin is a model man, a man of high character, religious and capable. He is an active worker in the Presbyterian church, president of the Christian Endeavor society, of that church, and a man that every on trysts. Of a kindly disposition, generous to a fault and faithful in all his duties. He has many friends, both here and over the state who lose no opportunity for saying a good word for Will Bauslin. --------------------------------------------------------------------- KSGENWEB INTERNET GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY COPYRIGHT NOTICE: In keeping with the KSGenWeb policy of providing free information on the Internet, this data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
